New York City Economic Development Corp Selects Inter-Con as its New Security Partner

New York, New York, May 8, 2023 – Following an open and competitive solicitation, the New York City Economic Development Corp (NYCEDC) has selected Inter-Con as the awardee of its most recent security guarding Contract. Under the five-year Contract, Inter-Con will be responsible for providing over 80 security professionals to secure NYCEDC people, patrons, and assets across 9 locations in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens including the Brooklyn Army and Cruise Ship Terminals. The NYCEDC was founded to create a vibrant, inclusive, and globally competitive economy for all New Yorkers.

Inter-Con’s Chief Operating Officer, Richard Stack, acknowledged that “Inter-Con is honored by NYCEDC’s selection and is excited to serve as its new preferred security partner.” He went on to add that, “Inter-Con recognizes the importance of serving as ambassadors to the communities in which it operates, and that we will endeavor to make those we engage with feel prized and protected.”
